MSM Contracts was awarded the project to design and construct a state-of-the-art vehicle preparation centre on Sydenham Road, Belfast, specifically for the Agnew Group’s Porsche and Audi franchises. This project included the novation of the Architect and Structural/Civil Engineer to the Contractor team post-award, facilitating the transition from technical design to the construction phase.

The facility features included:
• 16-bay Workshop
• 10-bay Valet Centre with a turntable
• Staff Rooms on the ground floor
• PDI Work Bays, Parts Storage, and Plant Rooms on the first floor
• 72-space Car Park on the roof, accessible via a side vehicle ramp

Key construction elements included:
• Driven precast concrete piled foundations
• Structural steel frame with cold-rolled purlins and cladding rails
• Reinforced concrete ground floor slab with a power-floated finish
• Reinforced concrete metal deck for the first floor and roof deck, also with a power-floated finish
• Mastic asphalt roof covering
• Kingspan KS1000 Microrib cladding panels on walls
• Comprehensive interior fit-out for all vehicle, workshop, and staff areas
