New expansion project for Alternative Heat Ltd

MSM Contracts Ltd is delighted to be undertaking this expansion project for Alternative Heat Ltd.

The project consists of a new build fabrication unit, a new warehouse and office building along with associated car parking facilities. This 4,500m2 additional fabrication floor space along with 2,500m2 of office space adds to the already impressive facilities in place, which too were built by MSM Contracts Ltd in 1998.

Strong growth within the UK market has seen the demand for their shell and core M&E prefab solutions increase significantly, facilitating the need for further expansion to meet current and future demand.

The site team are making great progress in the challenging weather conditions they have come across with the warehouse steel erection in progress and the fabrication cladding continuing.

Lunch and site visit with Caroline Gumble, CEO of CIOB

MSM Contracts were very privileged to spend an afternoon with Caroline Gumble, Chief Executive Officer at The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

We hosted a lunch with Ms Gumble at the Ten Square Hotel in Belfast city-centre, where MSM staff, who are CIOB members, discussed their roles and projects they have been involved in, before visiting one of our sites at the nearby Chichester House.

Our contracts director, John Greig FRICS, FCIOB, who is a member of the CIOB Belfast Hub, remarked “We thank Caroline for giving us the opportunity to meet and discuss the work being carried out by MSM currently in Belfast and across Northern Ireland. On behalf of MSM, I wish to express our best wishes for the future to Caroline in her esteemed role as chief executive of the CIOB”
